What's included in the Free plan?

Is there a free trial for Basic and Pro?
Yes, Basic and Pro come with a one-month free trial.
Is pricing monthly or yearly?
Plans are billed yearly: Basic $19.99/year and Pro $29.99/year, in USD.
I still have a Brewfather subscription. Do I pay twice?
No. Upload your Brewfather receipt when choosing a plan and the months you have left are turned into a discount on your first BrewForge year (rounded up to the next 10%).
Can I get BrewForge cheaper by helping out?
Yes. Helpful bug reports and feature ideas sent from the app earn reward points, and so do referrals (2 points for a friend on Basic, 3 for Pro). Each point is worth 10% off Basic or Pro, up to 100%.
Can I export my data if I cancel?
Yes. Every brew exports as BeerXML, JSON and PDF, and you can download a full account export at any time.
What do I need Pro for?
Pro is for running a home brewery: the inventory planner and order lists, cellar scheduling and keg/bottle stock, taplist menus and TV screen, BJCP score sheets, the TRMNL plugin, Niimbot label printing and the REST API.
